🌸Seerah of Prophet (ﷺ)

🌸Lesson #1

🌸✨🌸✨🌸✨🌸

✨ We study the life of our Prophet Mohammed ﷺ as it:

•🌀 Increases our love for Allah and his Prophet ﷺ

🌀 Helps us understand that Prophet ﷺ was a favour/blessing of Allah upon us and our status as His ﷺ ummah.

•🌀 Teaches us the perfect code of life

•🌀 Enables us to surrender/ submit to Allah and become regular in our duties towards Allah

•🌀Softens our hearts towards people

•🌀Our love for the companions’ RA increases as we come across their sacrifices.

•🌀We come to know the importance and beauty of Qur’an

•🌀Learn the importance of the hereafter and strive to make our final destination better than this temporary abode of dunya

⭐Prophet ﷺ appearance, character, conduct, worship was perfect.

⭐ He ﷺ knew about his rank and yet he prayed salat till his feet were swollen to show his gratitude to Allah swt

⭐Even at times of war he ﷺ was just, kind and very merciful to his enemies e.g. at the conquest of Makkah he showed mercy to all those who mistreated him and his companions

⭐Abdullah Ibnu Ubai Ibnu Salool was known as the “Head of hypocrites”

⭐At times of difficulty we can look at the life of the Prophet ﷺ and learn from it as he suffered a lot.

⭐According to a hadees, “those who are tested most are those who are loved by Allah the most.”

⭐In another hadees we find out that the prophets of Allah are tested the most and then those who are closer in example and so on and so forth

⭐An ex. Jewish Rabbi Abdullah ibn Salam RA said, when he saw the face of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, he knew it is not the face of a liar and accepted Islam

⭐All Prophets of Allah were good looking, had health and were the special chosen ones free of defect so people were drawn to them

⭐There were 2 super powers when Prophet ﷺ was born, Roman empire stretched to Asia, Syria, North Africa, Palestine, Egypt with their head quarter in Istanbul. Byzantine Empire came under it too. Persians existed in present day Iran and were fire worshippers. Both powers were tyrants, oppressors and had no concept of hygiene.

🌀🌀May Allah enable us to learn from the Seerat of our Prophet Mohammedﷺ and grant us goodness.

🌸Lesson # 2

🌸✨🌸✨🌸✨🌸

⭐Arabs were idol worshipping polytheists. They believed in superstitions and fortune tellers.

⭐ Had a tribalism mentality and lineage was of prime importance.

⭐ Linguistically , Arabs were very powerful people, eloquence in speech was looked up to and could raise the rank of a person.

⭐Every Prophet of Allah was a shepherd.

⭐Women were oppressed, treated like commodities and baby girls were buried alive at birth.

⭐ 2 important incidents occurred before the birth of Mohammed ﷺ; the first one was:

🌀🌀 THE STORY REGARDING THE WELL OF ZAMZAM 🌀🌀

🌀Abdul Muttalib was the grandfather of Prophet ﷺ and a powerful leader of the Quraysh.

🌀 He had 11 sons and he was assigned a special place in the shade of the Kaaba where no one was allowed to sit.

🌀He dreamt about the exact spot of the never depleting well of zamzam.

🌀With his son Harris he started digging at the site and soon found the well and became its in charge.

⭐ STORY OF ABRAHA⭐

🌀 Abyssinian king of Yemen who had built a Christian church and wanted people to flock there instead of the Kaaba.

🌀To gain autonomy, he decided to attack the Kaaba with his elephant and huge army.

🌀On reaching the out skirts of Makkah he usurped camels of Quraysh and sent an envoy to the leader to inform about their intent to raze the kaaba .

🌀Abu Muttalib was taken to Abraha and he demanded the return of his camels and said the famous lines that the camels belong to us so return them as for the Kaaba, it’s Lord will protect it.

🌀 Abraha’s army proceeded towards Kaaba and small birds flocked over them and pelted them with stones.

🌀Most of them died or got injured and Abraha’s body parts fell off one by one on his return.

🌀 Prophet Mohammed ﷺ full name was Mohammed ibn Abdullah ibn Muttalib ibn Hashim ibn Abdi Manaaf and He ﷺ was from the clan of Banu Hashim who fell under Quraysh.

🌀 His ﷺ mother Amna binte Wahab was 7 months pregnant when his father aged 25 passed away.

🌀Many miracles happened at the birth of Mohammed ﷺ as signs of his blessed status.
